A large India-based infrastructure construction company operating in multiple segments of construction and in different geographical locations.

The Business Situation

  • Need to differentiate from the competition through successfully recruiting, training and retaining labour force, in order to deliver ‘quality’ products to customers, ‘on time’ and ‘at cost’, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
  • With shortage of skilled labour force in the country, this becomes an immense challenge.

Our Role

  • Establishing training facilities in the following construction trades :
    • Formwork Carpentry
    • Bar Bending and Steel Fixing
    • Masonry
    • Plumbing and Sanitation
    • Painting and Decoration
    • Electrical
  • Developing syllabus based on the Modular Employable Scheme of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
  • Preparation of detailed Lesson Plans in English, Tamil and Hindi for each Trade, Basic and Advanced Level.
  • Facilitate Selection of Head of the Institute and Trainers
  • Train the Trainers through Orientation Program
  • Advisory support on the proposed layout, site plan and infrastructure
